2012 Is here and I declare that this is going to be the healthiest  year of my life. This is the year I bring my status up to “athlete” mode.  I plan and strive to reach many goals.

Being an athlete requires sacrifice, discipline and heart. There is no winning without hard work and anything that comes easy isn’t worth it.

Before I do anything I have to train myself to be godly.  I find my empowerment, motivation and courage through the word of God daily. If I can keep my mind right and on track then my body  and everything else will not follow.  Proverbs 23:7 ” For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”

Habakkuk 2:2,

“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.”

It has taken me a little while to really refine my list of goals for the year.  I wanted to take some time to pray and get focused and seek the Lord first before forging ahead.  We all know that on the top of many lists is the goal to lose weight. I have many goals this year. My goals are categorized in the following three areas; my Personal Fitness, Ministry and Personal.  Here I will only be blogging about my personal bFIT goals and on occasion you may her about some of my ministry goals pertaining to bFIT4Life.

1. My Best bFIT Physique.  (to obtain a 20% or less body fat)

I have many great mentors.  In the sport of Figure Competition, my top favs are IFBB Pros are  Alicia Renee Harris and Stacy Simons McDowell.  Stacey is my new PT and Figure Coach. Yes I am claiming it!  I love her style and what she brings to the stage.  You will see more of her in my future blogs. I plan to train and prep for a Figure Competition either  Fall 2012 or SPRING 2013, if the Lord tarries.

2. The complete a pull-up un assisted. And grow from there.

3.  To do splits & gain more flexibility.

4. My Best  Race  PR Improvements

*5K PR of 30 minutes

*10K Bridge Run PR of 1:10

*The Broad Street Run under 2 hours

5. Complete and Finish my 1st Half Marathon injury free

These are not resolutions.  I don’t believe in resolutions, I be in commitments.  Commitments don’t always stick, but when I put my mind to something.  I AM UNSTOPPABLE!

MY NEW FIGHTING SCRIPT Isaiah 50:7

“For the Lord GOD will help Me;
Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed.”

So now that  you heard and know my goals,  this is where my accountability comes in.  There you have it!  I know my followers and church community are watching.  Know that You  become my motivation to work hard and train hard.

DO WE HAVE  ANY OF THE SAME GOALS?  SHARE SOME TIPS THAT WOULD HELP ME AND MY READERS.
